ORM Fertility recommends couples and individuals undergo a fertility assessment when:

• Female patient is:
  • Under the age of 35 and inability to conceive after 1 year
  • Over the age of 35 and inability to conceive after 6 months
  • Female patients over the age of 40 can be referred immediately
• Fallopian tube obstruction or abnormality
• Irregular menstrual cycles related to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) or other ovarian dysfunction
• Low Ovarian Reserve
• Male factors (e.g. abnormal semen analysis parameters)
• Family history of genetic disease

We encourage anyone who wants to preserve their family building potential to consider egg freezing. Oocyte cryopreservation has advanced greatly over the past few years, with improved overall success of eggs surviving the freezing process.

Generally, ORM Fertility recommends egg freezing for women under the age of 38, but consult one of our physicians to see if egg freezing is appropriate for your patients.

Fertility Preservation for Cancer 

Patients can be referred for andrology services such as semen analysis, IUI and prechemotherapy sperm freezes.
