Meet Shannon Gwartney, WHNP-BC
Shannon is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and has extensive experience within the fertility field and has practiced with ORM Fertility for 19 years.
Shannon is passionate about women’s healthcare and has proven this dedication throughout her entire nursing career. Shannon received her BA in Psychology from the University of Oregon and completed her Master’s degree in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She began her career working at a women’s healthcare clinic, specializing in Well Woman Care. During this time she became interested in providing support for women needing fertility care which led her to ORM in 2003.
Shannon’s a strong patient advocate and her approach to providing medical care showcases her passion for patient education and individualized support throughout a fertility journey. Shannon strives to provide genuine personalized care by considering all of a patient’s needs including physical, emotional, mental, social, and financial during every patient interaction. A patient’s physical comfort, health, and emotional well-being are her top priorities and she aims to listen to her patient’s individual needs in order to provide the best care suited for them.
Shannon works seamlessly with the entire ORM physician team and her extensive knowledge and skills elevate the patient care that our clinical staff collaboratively provides. She also enjoys working closely with ORM Egg Donors, providing a large portion of care to Egg Donors cycling with ORM. Shannon finds it extremely rewarding to guide these young women throughout their donation and assisting them with the resources they need.
